    Obv Pep knows more than us, but would make more sense to start strongest team and take off at half time with game won, than having to potentially bring likes of Kevin on now into a difficult game

    I meant it more that Alisson missing greatly decreases the chance of a Liverpool clean sheet. Kelleher has been poor this season.

    Ricky got a brace last week so was hoping same for Halaand today, but they are playing so slow, i get that an early game can mess with your food intake etc, but these lads should be able to deal with that at this stage.

    I don't regret going for Haaland even if he blanks, as no one else really jumped out at me - have no pool attackers so that wasn't an option, Saka/Hojlund maybe - but both are away from home.

    I'm some eejit, wasted a transfer on Gomez, thinking he'd start in Konate's absence, and he not even on the bench (had initially brought in Bradley on FT but the ambiguity over his availability threw me).

    It’s mad how Ake is given the assist for that goal - a random deflection, and then they’ll rule others out because the goalscorer wasn’t the intended target.
