Littler getting a dose of the hard slog for those a bit further down the rankings. He's played a huge amount in a short timeframe. He won't be suffering these qualifiers for long though I bet

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,571 ✭✭✭TheChrisD

Might still be a while. He's £154k off the OoM top 16; and £28k off the current cutoff for the top 16 PT qualifiers (who aren't already in via OoM) — with only 4 PCs, the first Euro Tour, and the UK Open between now and the cutoff for the ET5&6 qualifiers.

Race for ET7&8 adds in ETs 2-4 and two more PCs.

Race for ET9&10 adds in ETs 5-7 and two more PCs.

Loses 6-5 to MvG in the QF. was 2-0 up with chances to go 3-0 and also 5-4 up later on too.

    Littler also beaten in QF

Anderson v searle final for second event in a row

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,570 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Searle wins 8-7. Great final with both averaging 108

Searle the form man at the moment (and GAndo)

Interesting to see if they can hold that from going into the first big tournament of the year, the UK Open next week

    Draws for PC04

    Littler v wade

    Lennon v De Decker

    Mansell v Robbie Knops

    Barry v Graham Hall

    Slevin v Pietrezko

    WOC v Adam Smith-Neale

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,570 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Today the cut off for rankings and byes for next weeks UK Open

1-32: enter in the 4th round,

33-64: enter in the 3rd round,

65-96: enter in the 2nd round,

97-128: enter in the 1st round.

Steve Lennon could do with winning his opening match to ensure a bye into the second round.

Steve Lennon beats Mike de Decker 6-4. Playing out of his skin averaging 110 to MdD's 109. At one stage both of them were on 114 average (at 4-4)

He is in good form and could be worth an outside bet for UK Open for a large price

O'Connor loses last leg decider to Smith Neale. Too many 60 visits in the last leg

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,590 ✭✭✭roosterman71

I think Littler needs a break away for a little while. Just do the premier league or something. His form has stuttered and I suspect the toll of the circuit is catching up

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,570 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Slevin loses 6-2 to Pietrezcko. His early form after winning the card has dropped off a bit.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,570 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Yeah playing Mon-Thur last week and again this week taking its toll a bit. Esp when the Wednesday of both weeks is actually two tournament qualifiers. That said its a measure of how good he is that a single QF final appearance this week is judged a poor week. I dont think the guy will be having to do Euro Tour qualifiers for that much longer all the same

Keane Barry loses 6-2 in round 1. Mickey Mansell with a 6-0 win

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,570 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Both beaten in L32 stage. Mansell trounced 6-1 by Van Veen and Lennon ultimately ran out of gas against big Dirk losing 6-4.

Ryan Searle into L16. Anderson however lost in round 1
