Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I heard he has a vicious temper as well, and is incredibly thin-skinned.

Isn't weed supposed to chill people out? Doesn't seem to work that way. Lots of stoners seem to have anger issues.

He has what I would describe as delusions of grandeur.

Absolutely stratospheric ego. Thinks he is the second coming of JC.

Witnessed him incoherently screaming and shouting at staff in dublin airport once. Presumably under the influence.

So for Ming's version to be true:

An Irish person resident in Brussels, a place where this would more than likely mean they work in some official capacity, has a grudge against him.

The thought occurred to them that a good way to act on that grudge and cause him embarrassment would be to make it look like he was masturbating to Saoirse McHugh.

They were able to hack his account.

They waited until 4AM local time on a Sunday evening/Monday morning to act.

They were aware of the existence of that photo.

They carried out this one single act then disappeared.

And they deleted the message. You forgot that bit.

So the CIA or MI5 or FSB, are we ruling out Mosad ?

or he was spanking it to a political ally , hilariously got caught and his ego wont let him admit apologise and move on

should be done for wasting police time the wee creep

That whole "Belgian IP" thing is just a waste of time. Wouldn't be surprised if he has his phone enrolled in some sort of MDM solution in order to access his "work" emails there, which results with his traffic being routed through a server in Brussels. Standard for any type of "corporate" environment these days.

Yes but if they get IP plus mac address them they have him if he was that clueless. :)

So if it was someone who hacked his tweetcaster, if, couldn't that give them access to his Google search history if he used it for that?

Even if you leave out IP address using VPN or a Belgium site as said then if he used his own phone/ tablet/PC then he can be cought out.

For his sake I hope he was hacked or a friend was playing a prank who was in Belgium.

So Ming was connected to the European Parliament by VPN, in the middle of the night, off his face, googling pictures of co workers skinny dipping, and going at himself?

TBH I see nothing wrong with what he did.

He was stoned and wanted to pull the stomach out of himself so googled a photo of a friend's ass that was public.

Nobody is claiming it was illegal but it was most definitely morally wrong. He is a married man, almost 50 years old, and is searching for nude photos of a much younger work colleague (is she even 20 years old?). If you were caught doing that in a private sector company, you would be immediately dragged in front of HR and fired. Possibly civil law suit for sexual harassment. It's obvious you don't have children. I certainly wouldn't leave my daughter alone in a room with the druggie pervy old man and his ridiculous beard.

She is probably in her late 20s. If someone hacked Mr Flanagan's device he is right to report it but if not he is making a big fuss about something that is not that big a deal to most people.

Care to tell us more ? Was he throwing a hissy because they wouldn't let him skin up in a no smoking area?

He's hardly gonna knock one out over a much older work colleague now. Sure that would be worse.

Whatever about yer wan, if he was googling "Angela Merkel in the nip" then you'd have to be asking serious questions about the man's sanity (if you weren't already)

It's Saturday night. Hopefully the same band of nefarious cyber-safecrackers won't be worming their way past the Twitter e-moats again to humiliate our bright young thing in the European Parliament: Luke "Ming" Flanagan.

By that I mean I wonder if Ming's going to neck a few gallon of Lidl's cheapest and degrade himself on Twitter at three in the morning? If he's drinking Chimay Blue he can blame those pesky Belgians again. :D:D:D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 475 ✭✭AdrianBalboa

How baked out of your head do you have to be to get twitter mixed up with google? :D
He was hacked by Belgian spies, remember? :D I heard they're putting Tintin and Captain Haddock on the case. And I tell you what, that''s not the only thing that's fishy about this story wha!!! :D:D:D

So what’s next for Ming? Rent boys?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 475 ✭✭AdrianBalboa

What I suspect is going to happen is that the Belgian European Parliament VPN theory will be confirmed and Ming will claim that it was his wife snooping enviously on his phone after Ming spent the evening Tweeting about Saoirse McHugh. These days the only thing out of Ming's mouth I would believe is a breathalyzer test.

So he was hacked...and a parliamentary assistant admitted it. I am guessing we will see a flood of apologies...

The title of the thread is literally ming the trouserless, so not relevant.

The sad bit is that the assistant was sentenced to a year in jail and Ming the Trouserless carries on as usual.

He didn’t do the interview trouserless? For some reason I thought he admitted he wasn’t wearing trousers, only shorts.

I can't stand this useless excuse for a human. I kinda wish he would do something that would ger him locked up so we never have to see or here from him ever again. I never listen to him if he is on the news or the European thing or anything else as I know its just rubbish and jabbering tgat will come out of his mouth.

He hasn't got a sentence yet.

Flanagan completely over eggs the impact this could have had on him. "Doesn't feel safe"? C'mon now.

This lad is always seen as a bit of an anomaly; the eccentric chap we sent to Brussels to show Enda Kenny what’s what. But his voting record there is most unusual. He sort of aligns with The Left grouping, but it was only yesterday for example that he votes against the aid package for Ukraine. In fact only 40 voted against it - including Daly, Wallace and Flanagan.

I used to follow him on twitter and he’s a sour auld gooseberry isn’t he? Huge amounts of negativity, low level conspiracy, dishing out criticism but unable to accept any himself, tetchy, grumpy. Seems cannabis doesn’t chill you out.

The accused in the case today was also a habitual cannabis user.
