Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No, not everything is a conspiracy against Liverpool.

City tried to take a very quick corner kick before the referee had given them the go ahead. Too eager and Referee being slow on the communication.

I'd expect a decent bit of injury time here. Onana is taking his time a lot on goal kicks and when he catches it. Time wasting, one would say.

Lol another head injury stoppage. Let's see what happens with the drop ball today.

The stars are aligning for United, that Haaland miss...

Man Utd getting all the blocks in - good commitment from Mainoo and the defence. Haaland, jesus **** lol

    The real '****' Andy Carroll

Wow, maybe the Nunez sitter curse has moved onto Haaland.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,976 ✭✭✭doc_17

Oh God, Haaland. He seems to want to avoid using his head a lot of the time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,700 ✭✭✭mobydopy

Miss of the season that by Haaland

Worst ever miss I'd say, shocking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,976 ✭✭✭doc_17

    Why didn’t he head it?????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

    He’s just a sh*t Andriy Voronin….😂

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,661 ✭✭✭✭Arghus

What an incredible goal and an incredible miss.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,974 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

It's been a disappointing game for me. City dominating possession as usual and United with the counter attack goal but outside of Onana I couldn't pick out a player who I'd say played well.

I'm wondering if part of Ten Haag's gameplan was to give away corners, City have had 11. If so I gotta say it's not a bad idea, City very rarely score from corners.

Onana starting to show he’s a very good keeper

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,295 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Foden levels, can't say it wasn't coming.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,881 ✭✭✭✭klose

Rashford goal aside has had a bit of a shocker hasn’t he

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,023 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

All comes from an embarrassing bit of football from Rashford. Just choose to fall over in such a great position. Stay on your feet and you’ve a shot on. Annoying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,088 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

    He's been terrible.

Miss controlled and stopped 2 great counter attack opportunities. Completely mishit a big chance at the back post in the first half. And there was one other counter attack where Garnacho had lots of green grass to run into, but Rashford kept his head down running and didn't pass it. Ended up a Man City throw in.

2 great goals in the game. Good game all around

Brutal by Rashford. Absolutely shocking. Pathetic - not tracking baxk then putting Lindleof under pressure.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,194 ✭✭✭McFly85

    Bizarre decision from Rashford tbf

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,023 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Looked like he was terrified of taking a shot, and took the opportunity of playing for a far lower value free outside the box instead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

I think Utd have been cheeky there.

Knew keeper couldn't go off the field and stopped the momentum.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

I can't see this free not being a goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,881 ✭✭✭✭klose

    Oh boy here comes Anthony

United are somewhat stronger now with Rashford off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,109 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

I'll never get my head around the purchase of Antony. Such a limited footballer.

ETH threw in the towel with that sub. Anthony's first possession was a mile offside. The lad is not very good at football, is he?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Fernandes will appeal anything.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,879 ✭✭✭ArtyM

How are City not a few goals up is hard to fathom

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,295 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

    Foden again, wins it surely

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,023 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

To be fair to him the ball should’ve been played much sooner.

Same has happened with a few Garnacho runs where a quicker pass would’ve sent him through.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,023 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Ah balls, unsurprising though, been fairly inevitable.

    Unbelievable footballer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,612 ✭✭✭eigrod

Great player. Casemiro 5 years ago wouldn’t have got turned like that though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,109 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

Joke of a keeper as well. Utd are shocking.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,974 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Onana was poor for that second City goal, very slow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,295 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

The strength of City, some key players can have off games - but it rarely tends to matter.

    That’s why they are champions

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

That’s why Casemiro 5 years ago would’ve been playing for a much, much better team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,679 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

That, a few billion and around 115 rule infractions.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,654 ✭✭✭The Rooster

Foden definitely the best English forward player in the league. Southgate the only one who hasn’t realized it

The gap between these sides is enormous, scoreline flattering United.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

City are unreal, but my God, you're reminded just how utterly boring the style is.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,023 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Haalands goal scoring form in the league starting to get a bit worrying maybe? That’s 4 league games in a row where he’s missed sitters. They still had just enough elsewhere to nick a 1 goal win in 3 of those and drew the other. With him in form they’d have smashed those matches comfortably, but instead they’re all nervy encounters.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Seriously, how many Lucozade wrappers did Antony send away to become a footballer?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,528 ✭✭✭✭retalivity

C'mon Antony, the year-long rope-a-dope is surely over, time to turn it on!
