Unlikely it was Dean, or certainly not on Christmas night. Afair, Linda looked at the knife during an episode after the Christmas day episode.

Another thing I noticed, Linda said tonight it was a meat thermometer, but could swear it was a 2 pronged meat fork.

Maybe Sharon took the turkey fork that's what I thought the weapon was, a large fork, on holiday with her, ridiculous her missing the storyline

Probably not wise of Linda and Johnny to reveal to the others that Johnny knows about Keanu's death, at least not at this point anyway. I mean, considering how on edge everyone is lately, and how mistrustful they are of Linda with her drinking, there's no way to guarantee that one of the others wouldn't get paranoid and act against them in the future. At least that is my take on it in regards to how everyone has been acting lately. Johnny could have helped Linda without the others knowing.

My theory is in initial lead up to aftermath, they filmed multiple scenarios to keep the cast on their toes. They kept the Denise angle going and adapted it since is my guess.

Equally, I wonder did they also film a scene where Sharon killed him, and had planned on her doing a runner. Its ridiculous she has been missing for 2 months with a storyline that she is very much central too.

I’d half thought that Lucas was going to turn out to be an hallucination of Denise’s.

Tonight’s episode felt like it was never ending & if that’s the back of Denise for a while, that’d be a good thing as far as I’m concerned. Diane Parish did very well but the way the episode was put together or maybe edited, it all felt a bit scrappy. Perhaps though that’s what they were going for, an indication of Denise’s mindset.

I think she will confess to Lucas and he will use it to possibly get a reduced sentence.

Why did Lucas call Jack, why not call Chelsea whose number he'd have, how had he Jack's mobile number

Will Suki or Stacey confess next maybe to Eve?

Meanwhile Sharon is sunning herself in Australia lol

I hope Johnny isn't going to frame Denise if he has the weapon

it would be a strange plot twist if somehow her mum found the knife and is protecting her by getting rid of it.

Plus - what is this about L saying to johnnie that 'she washed it' - what did she do, wash it then put it under the bed afterwards it was washed? - its sometimes feels a bit dis-jointed this storyline I must say. - I would still like to know why they specially filmed the back door ajar when all was going on ... giving the impression Dean that had been in the pub upstairs hung around and heard something

What a truly unlikeable person Johnny Carter is though.

Deans kid is a bit annoying.

Seems strange to do a flash forward for that story and only 5 weeks at that.

Nish has an Archie Mitchell vibe to him. I wonder if we'll get a who killed Nish storyline? I mean the 40th Anniversary is next year so I imagine there will be a big storyline planned for it.

Kat with the fun bags in yer mans face is a bit cringy.

Wonder how Phil is going to react when he finds out what Nishs plan was.

As it turns out he didn't seem to care.

With Nish out on his ear, wonder who he'll lash out on next.

Whitney's bump will give it away to Sonia and Reiss

To be honest, I find Suki to be an unlikable character. They try to make her sympathetic because of Nish being an abusive and controlling husband, but she's no better herself a lot of the times. You'd think she'd be sympathetic towards Denise given how Suki had a mental breakdown after Ranveer's death, yet she's been the most vocal against Denise getting psychiatric help and wanted to prevent her from leaving. She even went so far as to threaten Jack as well. If the writers are trying to turn her into redeemed character, they're not doing a very good job tbh.

And what was the story with Whitney and Sonia tonight? Am I missing something or was there some kind of tension there when Sonia arrived? And are Bianca and Zack hiding something from Whitney? They seemed to be chatting about something that they didn't want to tell Whitney about.

I agree Suki can be bad and as manipulative as Nish, he can't be blamed her all her behaviour considering he was in prison, she adores Nugget who is nothing to her but let innocent Jags go to prison where he died and has nothing to do with Jags kid

I think Sonia who is trying for a baby probably felt jealous and annoyed that Whitney kept it from her
