I'm fairly sure Labour was the party that have us the Marriage Referendum I'm 2015.l and it was carried fairly well.

However in 2016 they faired fairly badly in the General Election.

As said above this is a standalone vote..it's not a vote for or against any parties or groups. This is the case with all referendums really when you look back at it.

Those suggesting either way that a no vote from a person makes them an Aontu supporter or anything similar are just daft.

Varadkar has admitted they couldn't convince people of the need for this referendum in the first instance let alone clarify the outcomes of it and they ultimately are why the majority who voted voted against it.

As for those who didn't vote. Don't really care about them. No excuses for not voting and yet consistently there's forty percent or more of the electorate who don't vote for whatever reason.

Tobin is only pro life when it suits him. He ain't very pro life when it comes to British citizens.

Most right thinking people would base their opinion on evidence. So they wouldn't "think" they would know. So what evidence did you use?

In 2019, he, Carol Nolan, Mattie McGrath and Sinn Fein voted for a PBP to restore birthright citizenship, where children born to bogus asylum seekers (anchor babies) will be given automatic citizenship. It's a hard pass for me.
