Fingers crossed this lad comes through for the seniors. Wasn't on the under 20 panel last year I think (unbelievable **** - no Tom Delaney either). Talk surrounding the under 20s this year is not good at all. Cummins and management seems to have lost the dressing room before the season has even started. This is cruel because there's some serious talent available for the grade this year. Management have it all to do now.

Seen him play a few times and he is just a bag of raw natural talent was outstanding for Cappa in the intermediate last year too. I don't think Cummins should have been left in after last year they were a disjointed looking side. Would like to see Tipp try something new with Manager starting with team in academy bringing that team up to and including Minor. At 20 level then have a manager that is on the verge of breaking into senior set up in charge and just stop with the token gesture of giving them to former player's.

I saw him on clubber during the summer. Has it but needs top level coaching alright. The type of player we’re crying out for at senior.

That happens already and this is woodlock’s group. Surprised he wasn’t given the reigns. Woodblock might not talk the talk and come across as not the most well versed but he gets every player playing for him. Managers are not always in the position to continue whether it’s work or something else.

cummins brought in Paddy saint but I don’t know what coaching he has done before to get this gig. Now maybe he’s great - I don’t know. But it looks like a clear the air is needed already and Cummins better be ready to take on board the feedback. They looked over coached last year.

Very poor result from the footballers.

Brutal result. Four substitutions in the first half alone

Hike in prices for the Munster championship on the way...

Team naming might not go ahead tonight. One of the Gaynors died out in Kilruane tonight. Cahill is married into that family. RIP Des Gaynor.

Looks like we have a team alright. The experimenting continues. Good to see. A few lads getting their first starts of the year.

Very odd game. We didn't score a free until the second half. Hit the post twice. The two most dangerous men we had in the first half we brought deepish on a lot of occasions after a lot of success up front. A lot of trying things going on, on both sides, but sure we could see that before the game started with the center forward, center back, and mid field choices.

Lots to learn, especially from the pucks outs and the reaction to our own goals (took the foot off the pedal). He'll have to have a look at both Hayes and Seymour against Antrim as puck out options. Keneally needs to be looked at again too (surprised he didn't get minutes).

Kennedy more than likely gone for the year ( I have no info). I think his face said it all going off the field. He's not a man to go down or stay down on the field unless it's bad. And in a sense, a cruel price for Tipp and serious blow to ambitions in Munster. Might have unsettled us a bit to see Kennedy and O'Connor going off with championship so close. A timely reminder, one bad injury and your year is gone with championship so close.

Very very quite on here considering a big game v Limerick.

Are people posting on other forums?

Not much to say about the game overall. Typical Limerick v Tipperary game with the usual result not in doubt with 15mins to go.

Typical limerick vs any team really. Clare will huff and puff but in any ko game or final also will come up short.

Were very close games last year in the most recent munster championship. Limerick were beaten by Clare. Another close game in the final. Drew with Tipp. Beat Cork by a point. All close, 70 mins plus games.

The Munster Council have confirmed there will be no public sale of tickets for next month’s Round 1 senior hurling championship fixtures in Ennis and Waterford. Or for Waterford v Tipp.

Tickets for seven of the 10 round-robin games will go on sale on the official GAA website and through participating Centra and SuperValu shops at 10am on Wednesday week, March 27.

However, tickets to the Clare v Limerick game in Cusack Park on April 21 as well as the Waterford v Cork clash in Walsh Park that afternoon will be distributed via the relevant county boards. The same will apply for the Waterford-Tipperary game on May 4.

Adult stand tickets are expected to rise by €5

Probably the closest we've seen to a championship 26 - excluding Barrett & Heffernan & Willie Connors. Glad to see Slattery and Stakelum back from injury. Rob Doyle might regret opting to go travelling looking at his club mate now. Correct decision to rest Bowe.

Tipperarys football game against Wexford at 6pm on Saturday is now on in Enniscorthy as Tipp have conceded home advantage

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,309 ✭✭✭evolvingtipperary101

A lot of pitches around the county washed out and few with floodlights

Apparently not. It was penciled in alright. Might have been an objection from Wexford. Only thing I can think of. Templetuohy is no longer available. The Tipperary U20 football squad play Limerick in Fethard on Friday.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,551 ✭✭✭The White Feather

The all-weather pitch at Fethard Town Park was booked as an alternative but neither side keen to play on Astro. There was no available pitch in Tipp so Wexford offered St. Patrick’s in Enniscorthy.

Tipp agreed on the condition that Wexford owe a league fixture
