Cillian Burke. D Geaney, S O Brien, Joe o Connor & Heinrich are the bright sparks from this league campaign. Joe O' Connor gets about more than J Barry did, has an eye for a score as well, one thing missing from the midfield for years. C Burke will be a key favor in the Championship. D Geaney has a good kick pass and has composure in his kicking. B O' B I think needs to be dropped to the bench at this stage. Prefer to see Barry Dan ahead of Moynihan. A Spillane to start as well. G White again today is at fault for a goal that could have proved costly again. Shane Ryan still has a bad mistake in him and needs to stop with his forays up the pitch. Jack o' Connor and his management team I still have doubts about, why bring on the Cliffords today? It actually upset the rhythm we had going with the new lads on the pitch. I really hope Paddy Tally is back for the Championship as he is badly needed. K Spillane is our 2nd best scoring forward and should be used more. Also have a feeling Cork may cause an upset in munster this year. In truth we are dire to watch and the link up with our forwards is poor. I don't see any new tactics from Jack and that is the main worry.

It is a major worry with White being turned over time & time again. In todays game one mistake will be pounced on and capitalized on. Is there better than White in the panel?

Player are continually making themselves available. It's the goalie decision wheather the kickout is on or not. When I saw it going to him I taught that it was a bad decision.

Ryan has a habit of kicking out scuttery short kickouts. At time he definitely should put more pace on the ball and keep it off the ground. Players are constantly having to bend to pick up a ball skidding along the ground.

Ya GW should have done a bit better but it's Ryan making the call wheather the KO is on or not

He is making these mistakes too often. His book has been marked by other teams as Dublin waited for him to screw up in the Final. He sailed too close to the wind with his hand passing and got away with it up till the Dublin game. It turned the game again last Sunday against Galway. His speed is becoming a liability and needs more composure in his game. S Ryan has this lapse of concentration too much now in games, also he is far too slow with kickouts. B O Begley is the best for making himself available for the kick out. I may get lambasted for this but D O' Connor is an average midfielder and goes missing far too much in big games, doesn't make himself available for kick outs enough either. Sort out our kick outs and this team will improve 30%.

The Derry goalkeeper was brilliant yesterday. Streets ahead of Ryan who could badly do with being coached on every aspect of his play.

Note how often the Derry man ( who is very competent on the solo) got the short kick out to HIS man on the wings; then he was back in the play first or second pass and advanced up the middle often getting to mid field as the Dubs retreated marking their men. The goalie placed the ball very quickly running to placement, then stopped and stood over ball, waited and watched for scatter and punted 20/25 metres with a quick stroke - he was prepared for a dab to left/right or centre. When Ryan gets ball in his hands he rarely goes beyond 30 metres and USUAL pass is 5/6 metres to nearest player; he never even takes one opponent out of the play, not to mention 2 or 3. All this is useless for attacking momentum.

Ryan is a good shot stopper and saved us against Derry last year but he is way too lackadaisical with his kick outs. It's a part of our game that is killing us in games. Even though I have gone off our current management I am still surprised they haven't fixed this. D Murphy & M Quirke are not up to it at this level with only P Tally up to scratch. If Jack persists with D Moynihan, P Geaney,S O'Brien & P Murphy in the Championship we are screwed. What we saw in the League & last year is a poorly coached team and disarray in the forwards, erratic shooting, a build up that is far too slow & ponderous, players making the same mistakes over n over. This year is Jacks biggest test as a manager and hopefully he will pull something out of the hat for us to land an AI.

Yesterdays game was like watching a Junior game from the 90's. Bang average players mostly. So many players way off the pace and individual errors wholesale. Midfield will get wiped out this year again it looks like, D o' Connor not cutting it at this level, Joe o' Connor is still fresh. Try Barry Dan & J o' Connor for the next game. Same mistakes all over the pitch and the fact that Cork ran out of ideas & steam we would have been beaten. No cohesion in the forwards again and no creativity. Dara Moynihan's inclusion is baffling to say the least, I know he kicked 2 points but he is not going to cut it again against top teams. Paudie Clifford is not a playmaker and is easily snuffed out of games and David Clifford is being easily got at & marked out of games. Again when we are run at we are at sixes & seven's. Looking at Donegals midfield yesterday and they are stronger & tougher while our midfield is weak. We are bringing on players from the bench who are almost in their mid thirties now. No leadership in the team and no playmaker and stale tactic's & decision's from the line. We are & have been playing with fear and that is coming from the line. Unless the powers that be bring in a better background staff we are going nowhere this year.

if it stays that way until june what harm , its from them on the football championship takes off , ps if common sense takes place then the munster final should be on in kerry or clare this year , better crowd if nothing else
