Can you get a decent one 2nd hand ?

Have you got examples, not familiar with BYD to be honest.

I'm used to the Outlander so that wouldn't be a problem for me.

Hmm, just looking at BYD now, same issue for me, screen controls pretty much everything. Not for me but would you be worried about resale value ? that's pretty much unknown yet + I really do like having a dealer close by.

Yeah looks decent the more I see it, not sure I want to spend so much though. Still, I might take a look at one in Carlow tomorrow and I might take one for a spin.

I drove the ev 6 "earth" today, which i'm almost certain is the 77 kwh .

it's a 2022 with 87,500 kms and they're looking for 35k, body work isn't fantastic, was just a car to the previous owner, scratches on it, swirl marks galore but in fairness black is very hard to keep but it looked dull.

Scratches around the door handles, lots.

Inside is a different story, it's a lot nicer with proper accessible buttons for heated seats and steering, as you can see from prawnsambo's pic above , while some are not physical buttons they do make a big difference having dedicated functions.

There's a good bit more room up front, it's wider and more room in the rear, but foot room under drivers seat is tight, you'd definitely want to raise the seat if an adult was in the rear.

Suspension is softer, better for broken town roads, on country country roads the id3 is better, feels tighter on the road, steering on the id3 is a lot better, the Ev 6 has no feel, feels unnatural and lifeless and doesn't help with the handling.

So from a driving experience the id3 is a lot better, that's my opinion of course.

Power wise there's not a lot between them, they won't win any races but adequate.

Not sure it would be worth 35K to be honest, it's something I'd have to think a lot about but the paintwork was definitely not great for a 2 year old car, I was quite surprised, are they all like that ? I mean the id3 hasn't seen the greatest love but there's a much better shine on it.

I don't think It's worth 54 K for one new, but perhaps the better quality interior adds to the cost.

is the the m3 long range or standard ?

Wow, that last link, 42K for the same money as the one I saw today with a lot more mileage and the paint looks much better.

Yeah the handling was disappointing, the steering especially let it down. I don't know if it can be adjusted or know if any adjustment could improve it.

Actually, scratch that, a PHEV might be considered after seeing some BMW 530e cars around , doing some research they seem to be very reliable.

Kia phev has 60 Hp ? surely it's more combined with engine and motor ? even my MKII Prius had a lot more than that.

At the Kms I drive now probably be once a year service.
