Kerry is like a train station in fairness. great for flying through, but it's completely different to Dublin airport. there is no comparison what so ever

I would have thought the last sentence was a given!

As for seperate lines, probably not the volume for that.

Margaret declares she's not a security risk so that's okay then.

I've been on smaller planes where you have to be weighed in the terminal in order for them to calculate the ballast to keep the plane in the skoy, I am guessing some of these callers would be offended by that and say it's an invasion of privacy.

I’m not a security risk. That what all the drug couriers say.

Imagine the amount of calls if they DID let someone through with something they shouldn't have because they SAID they're not a security threat.

An airport is some money machine, it's like owning a casino.

Joe having empathy for staff having to work more than 2 hours a day.

And thinking about his next trip through the airport

Unless, of course, they had a letter from a doctor

Joe, it is called a passport.

Everyone has one in the airport, unless they are a foreign lad looking for their own front door.

Sure thing, Joe. An ID card can never be faked.

You can delegate that to me McQueen - the answer is no, a card with details on it isn't gonna be secure!

I was flying Kerry to Dublin while ago, got to the airport 30 minutes before take off. Fella spotted me as I was starting to queue - are you flying to Dublin? Yes says I - up to top of queue for security and onto the end of the queue for the flight 27 minutes before take off

    Joe opening his Rolos.

Security: I want to examine you further.

Caller: I have a letter from my Mammy saying I am not a threat.

Security: OK so, you are free to go.

Is there any way that these people could advise the airport authorities of any hardware that may be attached to them so that any required investigation can be done before proceeding to the security desk and/or departure gates?

love flying through there, even Cork is a breeze these days. Detest Dublin Airport, but with the volume going through they can't be worrying about feelings instead of security

I'm all for private rooms being used for people with medical reasons once the queue can then move freely.

Travellers should help themselves with appropriate clothing etc and don't joke about beanbags etc
