Can anyone recommend a decent gym in the above area please? I’m looking for somewhere that would have a decent personal trainer. Not too fussed about a pool etc but wouldn’t say no to it either. Thanks

GymPlus is a decent option, good array of machines and large selection of free weights. Never personally used their classes or PT's but a large selection on throughout the day.
It's €60 p/m but that includes sauna, steamroom, jacuzzi and a 20m pool.

There's a small area upstairs for stretching and free exercises. Also pretty sure you can use the studio when it's not in use for classes. It has a couple of punching bags in there too.
