Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I ageee with fresh legs idea but that first 11 tonight was unacceptable Gamble, look at the starting 11 for the 2nd leg at Sparta when the tie was over .

    Keep thinking surely we can’t miss another chance and it’s same over and over again when we get into the opposition half. The goals we are conceding just absolutely bizarre. This was best chance of another trophy in my opinion but need to at least be within a goal. Can’t really believe what we watching

    The wheels were coming off before the Utd game. We got very lucky in quite a few games with late goals. Poor defending that a better team would have taken. But, a more clinical striker would have made the difference in so many of those. We get the chances but not the goals.

    Really throwing everything at it now - Endo off for Jota, and that's our final change.

    Hopefully he can come up with something, but it's a risky move, leaves us very exposed (I'd have brought on Jota for sure - just not sure about taking off Endo for him).

    True mate but the poor play is spreading through midfield and defence as well, getting worse every game . Genuinely I can’t remember the last time I’ve watched us lose a game at anfield we could easily be 0-3 0-4 down .

    Was it a gamble though?

    Looking at it we've brought in our second choice LB, second choice LW and dropped Salah. Everyone else is first choice. I'd also argue Gakpo isn't miles off Diaz for LW. The players brought in should have been capable of filling in tonight.

    Make no mistake we've not been allowed to play well tonight. Atalanta have been excellent. They've played a risky game where they've put serious pressure on us all over the field and have forced loads of mistakes and made it extremely difficult to actually complete a pass. Fair play to them, they've got it perfect tonight.

    This is a huge game for Atalanta. They’ve been building up to it for weeks as they are out of contention in Serie A. Liverpool have played tonight like it’s just another game among many others. Played like absolute muppets.
