    Hi,

Our neighbour recently built a cabinet on the party wall to have their heat pump, washer and dryer in. Since then there is a constant low frequency hum in our house, which I'm assuming is their heat pump. It's gets louder when the washing machine and dryer is on, when the washing machine is spinning fast it is very disruptive. They have spent a lot of money, and are obviously reluctant to have to undo any work. The appliances are tightly squeezed in, so I'm assuming all the vibration is being transferred into the wall, which the cabinet is bolted to. It's an annoying sound, and audible even in conversation. Bar just getting ear plugs for bedtime, are there any solutions they could try? Maybe a type of insulation behind the appliances or something?
