I'd be very surprised if you found a bricks and mortar place in Galway that sells anything for Oneplus.

Thought as much but it's just a stocking filler so there's no panic really.

Colleran's at small crane square. My parents have had to call them out a few times and said they were very professional and considerate.

+ 1 on Collerans. If you can't get them try armour locksmiths in the eyre centre.

    Hi & Happy New Year,

I'm looking for places that sell day by day calendars. HMV doesn't have any left that I'd like, the card shop in Eyre Square Shop Centre doesn't do them anymore. I'm looking for Texts from a Dog (HMV had them but sold out) or any similar to The Argyle Sweater humour (have that one already).
    Thanks in advance,
    Pa.

Jeans Alterations- Need two jeans taken up is there any recommendations for the East side (Ballybrit/Ballybane) please and thanks. I looked in Dunnes notice board as I remember some one used to do it from home but no luck (can go to a franchisee like Zipyard but prefer to give it to someone local)
    Thanks

There is an alterations place next to Olympic Sadlery in Briarhill Business Park. Can't remember the name of it.

Nope. I looked and only found an order form from that sausage guy from the market: http://www.gm-catering.com/

There is a german butcher in Killarney I've been meaning to visit.

Lidl only have Bratwurst during the summer / BBQ season.

They had bockwurst, but not bratwurst. Polish shops don't sell it either.

Bratwurst has a milky white appearance uncooked so it's easy to spot. It used to be commonly carried by ALDI/LIDL but I haven't seen it in years (although I don't get to LIDL too often but am in ALDI weekly).

Don't know where to put this, there was someone looking for stuff from Ikea in the last while I think? I just happened to stumble onto this, have no connection with the guy but post says he's going up again January 19th. Galway/Mayo Van Transport & Removals.

My mum is German and highly recommends the butcher in Killarney, he's been there for over 30 years probably.

Getting married this year and looking for a spot for suits.

Wedding is on a tight enough budget so the cheaper the better really, anyone have any recommendations around the city?

    Are you buying or renting?

If buying, I just picked up some cheap shirts and a blazer in David E Menswear out in the Liosbaun Estate this week myself. Their sale is on the wind down but they have some stuff left.

There's also that Suit Republic place in the Liosbaun who seem to do good priced suits.

So head for the Liosbaun for a look!

    Whichever is cheaper :D

Cheers, will give a look out there. Going to scope around wherever I can find.

Hi, I signed on before Xmas and I got a signing slip in the post, but with no return address.

I hear the office has moved recently? Can anyone tell me the new address and if that is where I need to send it? Thanks.`

P.S. Does it need a stamp?

Where can one get a decent set of tongs in the city? (For the fire, as opposed to 'thongs' which my (male) housemate accidentally asked for in Dunnes one day, much to the poor staff member's bemusement...)

Woodies,b&q etc have them, none are particularly good ones though, quite light and definitely not a homemade version of yesteryear.

    Sorry - I've just woken up :o

    Thanks for the offer though.

Those things are massive - were they used for lifting entire bales of briquettes into the fire?

17:23 and just woken up! It's ok for some:).

Not as large as you might think. About 520cm, perfect for turning logs over in an open fire. What else would you need tongs for?.

The art house cinema is still under construction. Town hall theatre host a film society - they have a film festival of subtitled films this weekend actually. See THT dot ie for the details.

Thanks so much! Don't know why that didn't come up when I was googling it. Just moved back to galway, can be hard to find the indie film places!
Saw that new place though, looks great, hopefully it'll open soon.
