Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well if lots of posts online say it it must be true 🤣 meanwhile the penalty Coventry got was complete BS, short of amputating his own arm there was nothing more Wan-Bissaka could have done there.

    Scrap the cap!

I'll bet Robins and every Coventry fan would sacrifice an FA Cup final at Wembley for another play off place and chance of promotion. They've fallen away badly in the Championship at a crucial stage and are now too far adrift.

Seems to be a bit of discourse throughout the weekend of which referees took charge of the 2 cup semi finals. With an all-Manchester cup final, and the English referee pool being very weighted towards Manchester referees, who takes the final? Taylor, Tierney, Oliver all can't take it. Atwell surely cant, and the same with Hooper. Probably leaves Madley, Gillet or Chris Kavanagh. Kavanagh had the league cup final though, so that might rule him out but he has taken charge of a few big games this season.

It's not right that these things are highlighted, but they are these days because of the tendency to put Manchester referees in charge of games where Manchester teams are playing. That, and the referees that were paid to go to to the UAE to referee games there taking charge of the teams owned by the UAE.

that's probably debatable, especially where they are right now outside the playoff for most of the season and very few cup runs in recent years.

The success in the Checkatrade final in 2017 at Wembley is seen as their rebirth. The 1987 run is still legendary and it is a fanbase used to milling about the lower end of the Premier League and more recently league one, points deductions and misery, a cup final and the whole day would be at best a tough sacrifice.

Not everything is about the Premier League.

United player was rushing back, so it was important for VAR to draw the lines before the ball was kicked, as to make him offside. Ball is not even played at this frame, it was a scooped ball, and as for the line, it's drawn over the United players boot, to gain another few mm, total farce.

    Drawing over the boot, SAD

It was a perfectly good goal, and some FA Cup magic, which now never was, football has lost its soul.

Also with line of sight, the point at which you begin to draw the line will determine the outcome, you can draw a straight line across the pitch and have him 2 foot on side, a line is a line, like a lazer, it'sall depends on the starting point.

Seems this result hurt Liverpool fans more than Coventry.

Next Man City manager: You lot may all be internationals and have won all the domestic honours there are to win under Pep. But as far as I'm concerned, the first thing you can do for me is to chuck all your medals and all your caps and all your pots and all your pans into the biggest **** dustbin you can find, because you've never won any of them fairly. You've done it all by bloody cheating.

Yet another thread showing the insecurities of those rivals in red.

The big news for Man Utd is that Chelsea have shown that it is possible to beat Man City, IF, you have a finisher in your team. The question is can Man Utd take their chances, while hoping that their defence somehow or other can keep Man City quiet. Can't see it myself, so I think it'll be 2-1 or 3-1 to Man City.

He is so anti all things Manchester he probably turns off the radio in the car when The Stone Roses or Oasis come on

Perhaps less anti United, and more absolute contrarian on all things. Pinches of salt very much needed.

Can't blame anyone for that. Both of those bands are awful.

Seeing City is always a good thing, catch em on a bad day and they’re beatable, unfortunately them days are rare.

With them losing in Europe and today probably means a big summer transfer wise for em unfortunately for the rest of us

Martinez, Mainoo, Fernandes and Garnacho is a more than decent spine to build the future on.
