Can anyone recommend a decent petrol power washer for general diy?

Depends really what your budget is. If you want the best get a honda or a Kranzle. I have a power plus one from Lidl and it's decent. I did have a problem with it before christmas where it wouldn't start, called power plus up and they sent a courier to collect it, put a complete new motor on it and sent it back, all under their 3 year warranty. Do you really need a petrol one? Some of the better electric ones are just as good. Problem with petrol ones if they sit for a long time without use the carburettors tend to gum up.

Have a draper petrol pressure washer. What would be the best way to attach a hose / suction hose here to feed the water in without affecting flow rate of the water too much?
