Beauvais airport in Paris to Euro Disney

Hi,

Flying to Beauvais on Sunday 19th May. Land in at 16:05

And fly home on Wednesday 22nd may, flight departs at 22:35

We are going to Eurodisney.

Can anyone comment on the most cost efficient way to get to and from these locations? Is Uber an option, public transport or an airport transfer. seems about 130km so a nice trip

If you need public transport, the Ryanair transfer to Paris is grand, but then you have to get to Disney after that, but that is easier as it's on the train line.

I hadn't even thought about car rental as have it in my head it would be pure hardship

I have driven in Portugal a bit but know the roads well and its relatively quiet etc

Rented a car the last time we flew to Beauvais. Direct bus available but may not suit. Bus & train via Paris likely to be during rush hour

Op, we're going there next week, checked all transfer options from all different airports, and decided to fly with RA and get a rental. We'll stay 2 nights at Disneylands hotel and 3 nights in paris. We'll use a car only to get from airport to disneyland, then to hotel in paris and back to airport again.

Just on the transfers alone it would cost us 300 or more, so decided to get a rental.

How much is the car costing?

Is the driving in Paris/France a bit chaotic or is that only in around the main city area

Never had any issues driving in France & the drive from Beauvais to DLP is all, or mostly, on autoroutes or main roads. Can be congestion here and there but that's the same everywhere. Use Google maps and it'll divert you around any major holdups

edit: looks like I can get a car for about 140 euro. Then maybe 50 on fuel. and I dunno a guess of 20 on tolls. brings it to 210

Is this about right?

I am just guessing on tolls and fuel, then there could be parking etc

We got citroen c3 from budget, but its the same office as avis. Price was 166 from Wednesday morning to today evening. So 6 day rental. Includes 1500kms. I used a Skyscanner and picked discover cars as an agent. Paid like 14e online booking and another 166 at the desk, so theres something not right cos the total had to be 166. Will check when im back. We had Disneyland app, linked our booking, had magic passes on the app and went straight to disneyland from beauvais. As we were staying at the ranch, we had to use thea main carpark. Scanned the magicpass at the entrance so no parking fee. Stayed till close on the first day. The nighttime show was really magical. Booked the special reserved viewing area. Was really awesome, and fireworks were not loud, my youngest is still afraid of them and she was fine.

After Disneyland went to paris, le defence area, and parked the car at hotel carpark. Used metro for all trip to city. Parking 22 yoyos per day. Not cheap but in the end was cheaper than transfers and a lot quicker.

I think there was only one from beauvais to Disneyland, €5 ish, theres a road without tolls, but extra 10-15mins travel. Used a tolled one. Just one more thing re: car rent. When we booked, it said in the terminal. We landed quite late on Tuesday evening and went straight to hotel outside the airport. Went to collect a car in the morning, saw a rental offices in a carpark just outside the terminal, went there and got the keys. Coming back today, will check if there are any desks at the terminal

I drove only from airport to disneyland and the ranch, and from Disneyland to le defence. It was ok. Didn't have a chance to drive through the city and not planning to. Coming back today, could be trickier during the rush hour

Wouldn't bother with renting a car. A private transfer with bt-transfer is 320 return. https://www.bt-transfer.com/index.php?lang=en

They are opperated by the french government. Used them from CDG to Disney and they were excellent

That looks like a good option, if disneyland is your only destination. Unless you're staying at the ranch, where bus transfer is not available. In our case we had another hotel booked in paris and we wanted a hotel with swimming pool at Disneyland. Quite huge difference in price, plus we like campsites and country living.

And yes, we did use a pool
