    Agree.

only real dud was the first one.

eps 3, 4 and 5 have all been top notch

Were they real ads? I'm sure I remember them from when I was a kid, especially the electricity pylon one

Anyway another dud - a 50% hit rate for a show isn't good, maybe time to pack it in

Don't know...haven't watched the last 3 yet but 'Nine Lives Kat' was the only one that was really poor!

'Mr King' was decent, albeit a fairly blatant 'Midsommar' / 'The Wicker Man' ripoff. And enjoyed some of the one-liners in 'Merrily, Merrily' albeit a bit of a dull payoff.

Theyre a homage to a series of public information films (pifs) that were shown on British TV in the 70s called Charley Says. I wouldnt remember them myself as they were slightly before my time and we couldn't get the British channels anyway but I know of them through Scarred For Life (book and website that focuses on unsettling 70s and 80s pop culture)

Bbc has renewed IN9 for two more series

No one watching the new series or is it in a new thread?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,013 ✭✭✭✭Basq

Playing catch-up.. only watched the second episode last night. Solid start though!

I watched the Christmas one and I watched the 4th episode a week or two back. Must watch the ones I missed.

Maybe not the best time of year for this type of TV

When you start watching episode 5 just think about 3 by 3 in case you think what the hell!

Was the logical choice to make this the last season. Decent episode, the drag queen was a surprisingly entertaining character.

Anyone else get tickets? Was a bit of a slog to get through and had a few issues with payment processing, but Paddy's Day weekend next March.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,857 ✭✭✭hynesie08

Yeah, spent over an hour in the delfont Macintosh queue, and it would constantly freeze. Found the Ticketmaster link and was sorted in 5 minutes, Feb 28th.

Was clicking a rake of seats on TM and then would tell me they were now "unavailable" after trying to select.

Logged on late enough last night - so no real queue on Delfont - and got decent tickets.

    Looking forward to it!

Bump, to say another episode starting in a few minutes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,785 ✭✭✭Hande hoche!

That was certainly a change of pace from last week's episode.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,362 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

It felt a bit similar to episodes they had done before, I did watch it back a second time to see if I missed anything but not really. For some reason the end didn't feel too shocking even though it was quite extreme. Maybe it was difficult to like either character

Great camera work in this week's episode!

Poor old popcorn. That was a really nicely done episode.

Such a strong opening half to the season.

Only 3 more episodes to go! 😔

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,785 ✭✭✭Hande hoche!

Was thinking similar. Another season we might have two or three good episodes. Would deem the first three as very strong. Hopefully not jinxing it for the latter half.

3 for 3 so far this season, I'd love one more ridiculously outside the box episode before it ends.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,362 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

That was pretty tense, very gripping, good one 👍

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,013 ✭✭✭✭Basq

Yep, really enjoyed that too. Am a fan of escape rooms and the lads obviously have done a few.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,857 ✭✭✭hynesie08

Yes, figured it out pretty early on but the last 2 minutes gripped me.

    Wonder if

9 being the escape code will have any significant meaning in the end, maybe the ending will be a dream within a snow globe within the bedroom of a child who's been kidnapped by papa lazarou.

Surprised to see Natalie Dorner show up for an episode. Will be interested to see how the final episode concludes things.
