Request it close/lock Insurance Aircraft, Maritime and Motor

I’ve been looking the Insurance forum and the threads in there are very poorly replied to, if at all and there isn’t that many of them to start with. The list of insurers sticky hasn’t been updated in 7 years!
There is no cmod for Motoring and Transport anymore so I am posting this here.
Would you consider locking that forum to new threads and posts? Users can then post their threads in the relevant forum (as is happening in Motors anyway). Hopefully improving the replies and sharing of information.

No. It’s more feedback for us than something you need help with, so I’ll move it to Feedback and the admins can start looking for CMods and go from there to include your suggestion as a possible solution. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

There used to be a very active insurance thread on the motorbikes forum, then a few years back it was moved to the Insurance forum for some bizarre reason and naturally the thread died.

Much better to have those threads in the subject matter forums. Car insurance has nothing in common with bike insurance which has nothing in common with boat insurance so having them together makes no sense.

There is a Cmod for motoring and transport @LIGHTNING AFAIK. A list of mods below but unless you check their profile a lot are not active anymore. I asked @Boards.ie: Mike a while ago if the list could be updated so I'm not sure if it has.

Just for the record, there are back end problems preventing us from being able to update this list past one page. This means anything longer than one page and we don’t have the usual scroll bar that you would expect to appear. It’s not for the want of either myself or Spear trying to keep it current. It’s another technical issue that has been sent to Vanilla to resolve.
