    The trailer for the Bene Gesserit based Dune:Prophesy had dropped. It looks fantastic but, in what may be a nod to the direction it goes down, the name dropped in the trailer, Valya Harkonnen, is one of Brian & Kevin's creations. I hope (forlornly no doubt) that they'll use Brian's Characters and retcon them into McNelly's Dune Encyclopaedia back story 😉

    Handy thing about the adaptation is it has the opportunity to nip and tuck all the material from the books that hasn't worked. In fact I'd be surprised if it didn't get creative with the material, given how generally derided and hated it seems to be (though clearly people buy the books if they still being written!)
