I’m agree with what a few other posters have said, that someone from a few shots back will go low today! I think -17 wins it which leaves Shane well and truly in it, but he needs to back up yesterday.

Biggest worry for Shane is his putting when in contention.

Absolutey crazy some people are ruling Shane out. He's 2 off the lead and there isn't too many major winners around him.

What happened yesterday is now irrelevant. He's 2nd favorite for me after Colin.

Someone from behind might go low but more than likely, someone ahead will go low! I don't see how a 3 or 4 under par round for Shane wins it but let's hope I'm way off.

It's set up for a great final round, which there hasn't been in a major for a good while it seems like.

I reckon Morikawa will win, but I think at least one of Bryson or Hovland will go low.

Wouldn't rule out Lowry at all, although by his own admission he's not striking the ball particularly well.

Can't see anyone outside of those four winning, including Xander.

I've always called Justin Thomas the chaser. That's from long before he came from seven back to win the PGA championship two years ago.

He's five back today in his home town. He's my pick to do it.

Scoring low. Of course Shane is in it. Some crap about Shane be more happy been 2 behind than leading. What golfer would rather be behind than ahead. Any player in the top half a dozen will want to be in the mix all the way and nothing else they’ll be disappointed. No point in starting bad and finishing top 5 with a pointless birdie blitz at end when never in it

I made a strange sound at that approach shot, gwan Shane (think he'll need a 65 for it so may as well start early)

Think 66 wins it for Shane

Thought he'd miss after Theegala scored.

A real match play scenario with Shane on the first

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,459 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,757 ✭✭✭Trampas

Really bounce back after that miss on 1. Could have let the head drop

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,459 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

It's hotting up and Lowry is right in there!

xander will have 2 great escapes in the 1st four. looks ominous

This is a good start from Lowry. Just as I say it flies green.

If Shane can be thereabouts with 3/4 holes to go he has a chance, after all he has experienced closing out a major so it must be worth something

It'd be a lot more exciting if there was a modicum of jeopardy on some of the holes. Seems difficult to make a bogey which shouldn't be the case in a major

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,757 ✭✭✭Trampas

shane needs to calm down or this is gone

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,699 ✭✭✭Gusser09

Lowry in collapse mode now. I called it.
