    Just watched it on record.

The last singer Harrison Pettman was very good.

    He had studied Musical Theatre

    Thread was quiet the weekend.

Not on Saturday due to the Eurovision will air on Sunday the 12th instead.

The episode appeared on the Virgin player last night.

    Surprised at Amanda's Golden Buzzer.

Don't see anything for this week on the player - did they make a boo boo

That kids choir was murder on the ears

I'd be terrible in the audience for some of these acts. They'd all be standing up and I'd be like is that it?

When he took Bruno's watch, and put it in the hanky, and asked Bruno '' is it still there'' , And Bruno was like '' yea''

And he was like '' Never trust a magician poof''

Bruno was like, no need for names 😅

Interesting choice for the golden buzzer anyway 😁

Ahhh - didn't think she was that good TBH, disability favour for extra brownie points, Susan Boyle was a whole different ball game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,823 ✭✭✭✭fritzelly

The magic act was really good - I can usually break the act down but they had me stumped on most of it.

Enjoyed Haribow last night. Other than that, nothing really stood out for me.

I haven't been following this season much, only dipping in and out.

Did they not film a show where they selected the acts going to the semi finals?

Last Saturday was still showing auditions.

Yes, they were still showing auditions both Saturday and Sunday night.

Then finished up last night with a silly thing of Simon and Ant and Dec throwing cream pies at each other.
They didn't show any selection going on, just filled time with that at the end.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,391 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

I don't remember that ever happening before?

I didn't watch all audition episodes. I assume it showed the rejected ones too along with the ones who got to semis?

It felt like a production error. W

I used to like when they showed the selection. I know it was all a bit predictable but anyway 😁

I kinda wonder are they trying to drum up interest by not letting the viewers know until this week, who actually got through.

They wasted time with the cream pies thing, and also bringing back one guy more than once who was not at all funny.

I didn’t expect to like Rask AI but that was excellent

Hope they go through now !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,272 ✭✭✭✭km79

I’d imagine Sydney is the outright favourite after that

    Wow

Sydney was brilliant, her audition had me mesmerized and I'd be like Simon, its a horrible song but she made it something else

Is it my imagination but is there a lot of booing when Bruno is talking or is it a lot Bruno

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,562 ✭✭✭jaffa20

They are just shouting his name but it sound like booing. He's really annoying it on me though, so i'd understand if it was booing. He is constantly shouting and waving his arms!!

I was at a comedy show in London last week, maybe 150-200 people in the audience. Who appeared, Axel Blake. Easily the weakest performer on the night. Winning BGT does not seem to launch a career.

He was even using some of the same material, how many years later. Very poor.

I remember him as being annoying. I don't think I found him funny at all.

Hmmm, magician was good with the date and time

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 7,633 Mod ✭✭✭✭HildaOgdenx

I have just finished watching last night's acts. The comedian wasn't funny, imo.
Bruno handled the feedback to him, particularly well, I thought.

Will be catching up on tonight, later.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,391 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

The Canadian comedian was woeful yesterday. His material was so thin, too little content and it landed really badly.

    It was cringe.

Yes, that is who I'm talking about. I actually didn't catch half of what he was saying anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,391 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

He appeared on This Morning yesterday morning. I don't know how that can be allowed, is it not giving an advantage over other contestants?

He seemed confident that he could get through last night! Oh well...
