LIV dgaf, they have an unlimited bankroll and can punt on anything that has the potential to drive numbers up. There are very few losing bets for liv when they can reload every time. AK rediscovering some form would be a bit of romantic nostalgia for a lot of fans. Unless he makes some massive waves there'll barely be a ripple in sports news.

Well it's like just admitting what we all know that there is zero sporting integrity or relevance to the tour.

Liv really is where golfers public image go to die,Koepka ,Rahm Smith et al are all but invisible now,some big egos must be getting pissed off being so far from the limelight.

I see they’re stealing the European tour idea about doing challenges. Poulter and Hatton a 1 club challenge. They probably complained about not getting ranking points for it

Rahm is such a competitor it's possible the reality is setting in that he's now part of something without the same bite. The build up to the Masters has probably got him thinking about what he's left behind. Or maybe he's happy enough with all the money, etc. But it's an unusual enough interview to give for someone only there a short period

I think the relatively quiet build up to the Masters this year (or at least it appears so from my perspective) has really shown the damage LIV has done to the game.There was no real hype or intrigue in the build up, no anticipation of the upcoming major season in the events leading up to the masters (like there used to be) just the Masters pops out of nowhere this week.

Golf as a whole has handled the LIV thing so badly, they should have tried to get them to invest their money in the european tour as a sponsor (like they are doing with tennis) and pump in loads of money that way and not completely ruin the golf landscape like they've done.Coming in as a sponsor like in tennis would have been much more palatable for everyone rather than what they have done and it would have given them better PR than they've gotten from the whole LIV thing. Greg Norman really comes off extremely badly from the whole LIV thing clearly based on his petty dislike of the PGA tour rather than doing anything to help the game.

Just from Rahms recent comments that Liv should go to 72 hole tournaments and his general demeanour this week I wonder does he regret his move?

I know he has 300 million reasons to not regret it but he always seemed to be ultra competitive and Liv does seem like a weekend golf break away with the lads.

Did he think the two tours were going to merge quicker and he'd make off like a bandit with the loots?

They should of had 72 hole competitions from the start would of solved at lot of problems.. I still hate in and Greg Norman buying a ticket to The Masters what a w*nker

Bryson out again with the crocodile tears around liv not in majors. Go with your crocodile tears to Norman. You knew that when you accepted his cheque. There are rules and you should obey by them or else the boards golf society be looking for world ranking points

That's likely true I'd say. But at the same time, and without getting all socialisty on it, how much is enough ? His official career earnings on the PGAT were $51m, plus €27m in Europe, obviously there's some overlap with Majors and WGCs, but its probably in or around $70m, probably the same again in endorsements, unofficial money etc. I've no particular feelings either way for LIV (although I do like that they're almost doing what the PGAT did/does to the European tour for decades), but I've no sympathy for the players who went with their eyes open and now have buyers remorse.

I hate everything about LIV....but would agree ..regular golf events going on for 4 days and 72 holes ..was daft .

Grand for majors ...but after that...

Golf is also too slow ..and LIV suggested it would speed up golf ...but don't watch to know if they have ? Besides shotgun start .

SIgned enough cranks and slow players ..so doubt they would speed up for Anything or anyone..

It was just always that way ..were they ever asked...they are being asked now.

The majors are different.

But Thursday and Friday is a pointless exercise...imo.. one day fair enough..

But in general find all of golf too slow ..so could be me..

So when liv complain about players not in majors they should point to Oosthuizen declining an invite to pga championship.

Westwood crying again about he can’t play the senior open championship as it’s shared by r&a and European tour. Since he has his fines outstanding on that he can’t get in. Should have checked before taking the money again.

I noticed Tom Peters and Laurie Canter were back on the European tour last week.

How are some players able to play and others can't get back?

I think he's arguably come across the worst of those that went to LIV, makes an idiot of himself every time he opens his mouth. Compare him to someone like Smith or Leishman, can't remember a word from either of those, same with Louis, Schwartzel, just kept the head down and played away.

Could Westwood have played in that senior Open?
