It turned into another outpouring of frustration at the inability of elements of Islam to integrate into western societies who have done nothing but welcome them over the last few decades despite repeated acts of unprovoked barbarism.

If somebody said to me that all Muslims are just like the guy who carried out that attack I'd tell them to cop on, however it is not racist to identify correctly that his actions were predicated on his religious beliefs and how much of an issue that is at a time when unprecedented numbers of other young guys from similar backgrounds/countries are generously being granted asylum in Europe, asylum that is not granted to them by their neighbouring Islamic nations it should be pointed out.

I'm gutted for that cop, his family and colleagues, the attack on him was animalistic and beyond comprehension.

There is an enormous issue with fundamentalist Islam in Europe and fear of causing offence can't continue to allow a breeding ground for this type of thing to happen.

The officer was stabbed several times in the head and neck.

A 25-year-old suspect from Afghanistan was shot and wounded at the scene.

He remains in hospital and a judge has ordered he be held on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police and prosecutors have not publicly suggested any possible motive for the attack.

However, it happened during an event organised by German far-right group Pax Europa.

As we saw with the recent mass stabbing in Austrailia. When a white man does it, then it is a case of an isolated incident down to mental health but when a Muslim person is the perpretrator it is a case that they are all the same and they can't integrate.

Would the Parnell Square stabbings in Dublin in November 2023 be closet to happen here which then lead to the riots and that whole incident was handled badly, unprepared Gardai etc.,
