    What kind of violence is in M3GAN ? I have seen it mentioned a few times as a “family-friendly” horror movie but also said that it isn’t scary and isn’t supposed to be. It is 15s on iTunes but PG13 in the US.

    Are they different cuts? I can’t find a spoiler free review so had a look at a parent review site that seemed to be saying that there is a lot of blood but the injuries are not shown. But then they mention a kid gets his ear ripped off but not any details of what you can see.

    Seemingly there is an unrated version as well as theatrical one. Both ear scenes are on Youtube if you want to get a taste. Very tame film as regards the horror genre.
