Looking for partner firm in ROI - current mid-sized UK practice

We are a mid-sized accountancy firm based in the UK, specifically Northern Ireland. As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing our services and expanding our network, we are interested in establishing a partnership with a sister firm in the Republic of Ireland.

Our primary objective is to create a mutually beneficial relationship where we can share information, best practices, and industry insights cross-border.

In addition to information sharing, we are looking to potentially forward statutory audit work & other work where we cannot provide it ourself, but where our new & existing clients require it.

Does anyone have any insights into where to look for such a firm?

This is now the second you have posted this, in the space of a couple of months…. If you can't figure how to identify suitable partners, which is actually a pretty simple thing to do, then there really is not much point in relying on you to bring in much business now is there!

Hi Jim,

My last post ended up on a cold lead which is unfortunate. I find this website a very helpful place and wanted to extend the opportunity again, in case someone who hadn't seen the last post happened o this one.

Manners are also a pretty simple thing to extend, though it appears your screen being in front of your face has robbed you of yours.

If you want to be taken seriously by a prospective partner firm you should delete any mention of this request on internet forums.

Mid size firms in ROI number in the hundreds of employees and your firm has about 10-20. You would want to look at smaller firms more than likely.

CAI or ACCA might have lists of training firms which could be your starting point.
