Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Mainoo is probably the standout England player, purely because he is not scared to actually pass the ball forwards.

    the law as written doesn’t need to be changed, it just needs to be better reffed. It’s currently reffed in a way that does not correspond directly to how it’s written, overpenalising things that could and should be let go.

    Brilliant positive, physical and aggressive performance from Slovakia. Going out and getting **** stuck in. Huge ask to keep that up for another 45 minutes but so far this is highlighting how brittle this English side is.

    And England still probably won’t score

    That front 4 just isn't working and hasn't all tournament. Subs needed at HT. I'd get Palmer, Gordon and Watkins on for Saka, Bellingham and Kane. Watch Southgate take Mainoo off for Gallagher

    I actually think that's Saka's biggest strength. 'Winning' FKs.

    Of course, the PL refs are stupid enough to buy if every time. I'd be booking him the next time he goes down and grabs the ball.

    England as bad as they’ve been throughout the tournament but feel they’ll brute force their way through this one. Slovakia were very good for 30 mins but have retreated a bit which will suit England the longer it goes on.

    Mainoo embarrassing his teammates.

    Walker offers nothing on the right or inverted in this system, but if you must have him, get Trippier off, stick Walker LB, and get Trent on at RB.

    Get Kane off, put Foden central, stick Gordon on, and let Bellingham or Foden be a false 9.

    But Southgate won't do any of that, as he's a coward. So he'll plough on with this system, bringing Trent on at 70 if nothing changes, for Walker, then bringi on Palmer for Saka at around 80. Might take Mainoo off for Gallagher at some point because of the yellow too.

    Southgate has to make changes but it'll be the easy options, Trent for Trippier, Saka and Foden off of say.

    Kane needs to come off, he's offering nothing up front, maybe Rice too who has done nothing all tournament
