    Hopefully Southgate will be gone after this tournament even if England somehow scrape by against Slovakia.

    He is a bureaucratic middle-manager for the FA who has been as much about guiding England through various artificial LGBT/racism controversies as he is about anything football-related.

    Yes it's difficult now that Slovakia are hanging back in their own box and choking England with defenders. However Sam Allardyce tried the same thing with Leeds against Man City and Pep switched up tactics and still won.

    Southgate has world-class players at his disposal - Foden, Trippier, Walker, Bellingham, Kane, Palmer - so no excuses really.

    When Southgate in that recent press conference mentioned they had not really replaced Henderson and Kalvin Phillips how did he think that would play with the team? He has had plenty of time to plan and an absolute tonne of players, most countries would kill for some of the players on England bench.
