Paint sprayer

Hi folks I need to get walls painted, most are pebble dashed so I thought spraying would be the best way to do them,

1, did anyone ever purchase an electric sprayer what make?,

2 would a lot of paint be wasted by using a sprayer,

3 imm thinking of using deluxe weather shield which is very thick so probably would need a powerfull sprayer

Also do people water down paint to make it easier to spray or paint

Ur looking at the airless paint sprayer, better off just hiring one , cover once set up I'd get trough a heap of work

Bough one last year. Airless. Think it was about 700 quid. Wagner I think is the make. Have pebbles aswell. Great to get through work. Going spraying my sheds with it this year when ever I get the finger out and wash them

Airless sprayer will do the job. Can take the paint straight from the bucket. Cheaper sprayers are more sensitive to paint thickness

I bought a Wagner a couple of years ago. A great piece of kit. Requires more preparation time with masking and a lot more cleaning time, this is vital.

You will fly through painting with it. I didn’t try pebble dash but it would be ideal for it.
have planned to paint a galvanise shed roof at some stage with it too.

If you're putting it on to previously unpainted masonry then you should dilute the first coat by 10% to help absorption and most paint recommend diluting it when spraying anyway.

I would even recommend diluting it more. There is no issue with it being too light bar putting on an extra coat but if too thick if doesn’t adhere great and could flake more easily

water if the paint is water based, and thinners if oil based.
