I'm sure the Nigerian government have a reciprocal arrangement in place where some blow in token grifter will be appointed to show them where they are going wrong with their current diversity program.

What a country, what a time to be alive.

Would throw my name in the hat except I'd rightly be shown the door by the locals........and that's a v mild expectation of what would happen to anyone audacious enough to parachute into the a country and tell them where they are going wrong.

Lol!!! I can guarantee I have so much more experience of travelers then most that post discriminatory remarks about them.

It's easy to spot those that don't understand what discrimination means going by comments about travellers

An academic doctorate, often called a PhD (short for Doctor of Philosophy), is a research degree that typically requires completing a dissertation. Students enrolled in a PhD program may be interested in working in academia as a professor or conducting research in their field.

Just guessing her doctorate is most likely some made up woke rubbish.

Spot on is called a PhD in Equality Studies

She was awarded a PhD in Equality Studies from the UCD School of Social Justice, and has lectured in Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin (UCD).[3] Joseph is a lecturer on social policy, equality, migration and race at UCD. She is the coordinator of the first Black Studies module in Ireland at UCD, which she established with Prof Kathleen Lynch in 2019[4] and director of the Institute of Antiracism and Black Studies.[1] She is also a career-development specialist.[5][3] Joseph is a career development consultant with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and a race relations consultant.[6] She teaches diversity training courses.[7]

Ireland's version of Al Sharpton, grifter and race baiter.

Did youz see the interview on Six-One?

The anchor began, "Ebun, you've been quoted as saying racism is 'rampant' in Ireland [at which point I though she was going to go on to say '…is it really that bad..' but went on to say…] and you now believe it's getting worse!".

As an example of racism in school she recounted how 2 young black student's sitting together in class were told not to sit together because it gave the impression that the class wasn't 'inclusive'. The racism apparently is that white students weren't asked to do this. You'd think when had this air time she'd come up with something a bit meatier than that.

    Let me get this straight:

The homeless situation is worse because of the Governments inaction AND the arrival of more and more bogus/real asylum seekers.

There were no arson attacks and protests before 2022.

The Government time and time again keep dumping bogus/real asylum seekers into reception centres (like hotels etc) in rural and deprived areas where there is an enormous strain on resources.

The Government is not spending any more money on resources in said areas.

Arson attacks and protests against reception centres are occurring due to more and more arrivals of bogus/real asylum seekers which the Government keep blaming on the bogey-man far right.

So they decide to give more money to action against racism instead of spending the money on housing the homeless, dealing with bogus asylum seekers more effectively, enforcing deportations etc.

To add insult to injury they appoint "Ribena woman" … the case of the racist cordial drink in a hotel bar in Galway last December 2019.

Ireland has turned into a mini version of Biden's America, obsessed with skin colour obsessed with sexual identity ….obsessed with creating problems that weren't there, it's been a relatively quick turnaround

Incredible, on the taxpayer gravy train. Joe O'Brien? is this a Green Party initiative?

Her views are literally the definition of racism, dividing people up by their external characteristics like skin colour - and passing judgement on them based on these characteristics.

Before of course people like her started redefining the meaning of words. hence "anti-racism".

I recall she tried to get the statues outside the Shelbourne Hotel removed as she alleged they represented black slaves and were racist. She has never backed down from this position, using "racism" and "white privilege" against anyone who present alternative facts.

Art Historian, Kyle Leyden, researching this said that the statues removed from outside the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin were not slave girls but were instead “princesses”.

"Dr Ebun Joseph, who co-founded the first Black Studies module at University College Dublin, insists they are slaves. She tweeted that accepting Kyle Leyden’s word that they are not, over the judgement of people like her, is “white privilege” at work."

Why deal with real problems that exist in Ireland, when you can waste valuable Taxpayer money on the NGO Industrial Complex so that grifters like Joseph can tilt at Windmills?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,275 ✭✭✭mikethecop

This person embodies every negative stereotype imageable about migrants , she has never given one single thing to Ireland and has taken far more than her fair share.

what is baffling is the amount of platform she gets vs the amount of anti Irish and often flat out lies that she sprouts.

if we want to make a positive effect on race in Ireland the best thing we could do is exclude this horrible person , I have never seen or heard her offer anything positive

    Equality is a good thing.

Studying it is not deserving of a doctorate however.

Telling people not to be racist is the most ridiculous thing ever.

However, there should be consequences for racist behavior.

The online comments under ads for new housing developments are horrendous if someone with an Indian or other non-Irish name expresses an interest in the development, they immediately get racist comments often very nasty.

There should be consequences for those who post the comments.

  • Registered Users Posts: 123 ✭✭giseva

She is quite literally a racist. It beggars belief.

Government would appear to be doing all they can to sow the seeds of discourse for future generations.

Between appointments like this, the general mishandling of the migration crisis and the level of distain the ordinary people of Ireland are being treated with.

People do know racism works both ways.....this particular charlatan is living proof.

This isnt how we are all going to live happily ever after.

Roll on the GE, more of this crap the better chance of unseating a few more of them the better.
