The hotel took the statues down themselves in the wake of BLM under the mistaken impression they depicted slave girls.

DCC and the Georgian Society got wind of it and the hotel were ordered to put them back up. Somewhere in the middle the bould Dr Joseph waded in to spout more uninformed nonsense.

At this stage, it wouldn't surprise me if they appointed the leader of a Organised Crime Group to be the special rapporteur for action plan against crime.
