I think 'particularly the dems' is wrong. The GQP have been the enemy of the middle classes since forever. Trouble is, the Democrats have missed the message where they needed to do even more for their 'typical constituents.' Like, Obamacare had potential, but was gutted by the insurers. Imagine if it had turned into 'medicare for all,' it would've been a seismic shift in favor of the average US worker who could, now, tell their boss to take their job and shove it and not lose healthcare. NAFTA (a GOP invention but fully embraced by all sides) was another disaster that the Democrats helped with.

And CFTrump having support says a lot about the education system in the US, which is run by unions who are big Democrat boosters, but not like the GQP has done it any favors, including freaks like Betsy DeVos running things. Project 2025 wants to abolish the education department entirely - more dumb voters who CFTrump favors.

I'm not really objective to be honest. I would definitely lean more towards Trump than Biden, but from what I have read here so far, I would end up in circular conversations with the same five or six people about how wrong I am. I just think it's very funny and telling how the conversation has gone from how better Biden is, to how we need to get anyone else in except biden to beat Trump. Any insinuation about Biden being incapable was heralded as misinformation by the media but now is accepted.

That's the best summary of Project 2025 yet.

Tonight's debate between the candidates should help sort the truth out from the disinformation. I might stay up to watch it on the box to see how they treat and behave towards each other.

Trump is a racist, a rapist, a felon, he tried to steal one election and if re-elected has declared he will be a dictator on day one… there is a plan in place to ensure next time round, Trump will be surrounded by yes men and weasels, nobody who cares about pesky things like democracy and the rule of law. There's nothing 'very funny' about that.

Trump is unhinged. Have a look at his rant about electrocuting sharks. His racist rant about immigrants "poisoning our blood". Probably went down a storm with the regrettably large number of racists who can vote.

Trump is incapable of conducting himself in a responsible manner. He fell asleep in court. He was in contempt of court multiple times.

Biden is better than Trump. A better man. A better president - if you care about America and American democracy and what that means for the world. People who care about that may differ on whether Biden or another Democrat is the best candidate to stop Trump, but not that Trump must be stopped.

Not unexpected that most people don't like a racist rapist unless they have something in common with them, are fúcked in the head or are as thick as pig shít, and it isn't like trump doesn't also have other traits that people dislike.

How can you not care who wins? Either you have no concept of the impact that the USA has over the world or you have no understanding of how despicable a person Trump is and the litany of crimes and awful actions he has done.

You may well not think Biden should be POTUS, but it's an odd position to take that you simply don't care which one wins.

Not being able to have an impact and not caring are two different things.

If you didn't care then you wouldn't be complaining that people are backing Biden.

Biden has clearly age related issues, but he isn't a corpse and to date has been a very successful POTUS.

Trump supporters are not interested in their own country. They hate almost everything about it. They hate the lack of religion in schools. They hate women having a choice on abortion. They implicitly want the US to go back to a different time - just ensure when it is - but certainly not now.
