Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Lots of dreadful games in this tournament tbf.

    Hopefully tonight's game is in some way entertaining.

    Sick of extra time and penalties following insipid performances. It's like a punishment having to sit through another thirty minutes of boredom.

    Just going straight to penalties after 90 minutes should be on the table by now.

    i was surprised how OTT they were about what they claim is a fantastic performance and one they have waited for all tournament.


    i must be watching a different game, looks fairly similar altho slightly better than all their previous games.

    I get that BBC have to appear more supportive of the team following past complaints and comments, but there's little to be gained from 10mins of fiction.

    Must be something wrong with my telly, because it's not the game I'm watching

    Theo Walcott has really enjoyed watching that, even when it has gone back to Pickford there has been no negatives to it. The changes are allowing players to express themselves. Baffling.

    Saka and Mainoo have been the positives, but unfortunately, those around them have not been there.

    England are definitely pressing high which they hadn't once done in any game before this. Saka and Foden are in their preferred positions which was definitely not the case previously. It's a much more positive England than any other game. I'd hook Kane and they would be better served . The Swiss are not even trying.

    Not sure I'd agree. Ronaldo has all but retired and is seeing out his time in Saudi, Kane is still playing at the highest level and just scored 36 goals in the Bundesliga.

    I can't diagnose it but this whole England squad is playing well below what they're capable of at club level

    36 goals playing in a doped league for the team that the whole league is based towards. And he made them worse overall.

    Whoever made the call to sell him for Spurs should get a statue outside the stadium.
