How on earth is Morata the captain of the Spanish team?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,897 ✭✭✭amacca

He's brutal isn't he....he's the kind of guy that might shine when the team is on top and running rampant...even then you aren't so sure....

That rolling around like you were shot doesn't endear you to a team. Should be a bookable offence or actually shoot the eegit

Maybe just with a pellet gun and only in glutes and after the game in a controlled environment.

For the first few then escalate if they don’ cop on.😁💪

2 - 1 is the most dangerous of leads yhey say....

A game broke out in the first half, it's kind of being played at Frances pace now.

Although at least they look like they've ran out of ideas for the moment

France are coming on strong but Jaysus do Spain have some pace on the break. This could go to the whole way I think. Two good sides

Is it social media influencers that are driving all this pitch invasion stuff..

I might have been off with the prediction of a French presence in the final….

I dunno but they should get the pellet gun too....

Des Curran is so much easier to listen to than Darragh Maloney.

Spain owning the ball on the ground for long spells....France look like they are afraid to step up when Spain in posession

is that Fabian again gifting scoring opportunity to the French?

I see Maloney get praised for his GAA commentary, maybe his style is better suited to a faster more frenetic sport.

Missed the first half, second has been a bit boring.

Another chance for France, another chance fluffed.

It might work better in that context, but he seems to blather nonsense constantly when commentating on soccer. Some fear of dead air or something.

And I often get the sense that he can't get the true feel of what's happening on the pitch.

France going out with a bit of a whimper here.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,801 ✭✭✭jj880

Good enough. France dont deserve to get to the final. They've stunk out the tournament for the vast majority of their matches.

All the substitutions seemed to unbalance them.

Glad it's Spain. Not only are they the better team but if England jam their way through, they'll hammer them.

Deschamps reminds me of Alan Pardew.

    In more ways than one.

    Spain through!

Spain do deserve to get to the final, they have been the best team. They'd be red hot favourites on Sunday.

France very underwhelming throughout the tournament.

Will it be a 2010 World Cup final rematch?

    M

McGregor has a €80k odd bet on Spain to win outright, he stands to get a million if they win on Sunday.
