Has anyone else noticed that it states in the Apple online shop it states at the top of the screen if you select a watch that “GPS + Cellular connectivity coming soon.”?

I was in a Vodafone shop today and asked and they have the pricing for the Apple Watch on their system so something is imminent. Also, there is a carrier update on my iPhone bringing the carrier settings for Vodafone to 58.1

You can have the Apple Watch Ultra 2 delivered tomorrow. I’d say it’s operational now. There was a carrier update recently.

look under buy and manage add ons in the Vodafone app. It’s there and I just done it. First month is free then €5 per month thereafter. Apple Watch U2 ordered from Apple directly. It arrives tomorrow 😃

I'm on Red Complete SIM only, I wonder is this an old plan and they won't offer it to old plans.

This is fantastic news, have been waiting on this for years. It will be amazing for running, having to carry the phone when running is a pain.

Got it setup there in a few mins via the watch after adding the one plan add on a few mins before that.

I have it working on my phone and watch. I ignored the Samsung only warning, and then enabled Cellular using the Watch app.

Went ahead and signed up for this via the apple watch app and have got
three months free. Directly through the vodafone app was giving just one month free.

Gutted that this is a service with Vodafone now and still no word from Three as to whether they will support its or not. Strongly considering voting with my feet, so to speak and moving to a Vodafone Sim Only plan. Not much difference in the prices between the two operators, that I can see. Anyone any inside information or thoughts?🤔

Do we know if this is only available on Vodafone RED?

The small print Vodafone have on their site saying:
"In April of each year, the monthly price of your plan will increase by the rate of inflation (CPI) plus 3%. The increase will be calculated on the “thereafter” price."

Has me less likely to want to sign up for it.

So, apparently no support from 3 Ireland this year for the Apple Watch or any other smart watch according to the agent I spoke to. Can't understand the reference to the Apple Watch Series 4 though. Seems a bit outdated…

Agree. Luxembourg is now the only country in Europe without the cellular version. I was hoping Vodafone would also allow the Family Setup functionality also which allows a cellular watch to be set up without a phone but no. I have been using the UW2 since Vodafone allowed the cellular functionality and it works great. No more phone needed to make/accept calls if you are out and about.
