iD4 vs Kia Niro vs Skoda Enyaq vs BYD Atto

    Hello..

Any advice here would be appreciated. We're looking to buy our first EV. Can't afford a new one as budget is max ~€30k as we don't want to finance.

Use: We're a family of 4, 2 young kids. We do very little mileage - less than 10k a year - 90% of the time we're only using the car at the weekends for short trips - with ~4 or so trips a year in Ireland. We like the high driving position of an SUV, with decent leg room in the back and a fairly sizeable boot.

We know we can't buy new so we're looking at going back a year or two to get some value on an EV -take anything between 211- 231.

Would anyone share any advice as to what they think the best car in this class is or are they all very similar? Is there any watchouts on older models of these cars?

From reading through the threads here there's a lot of good feedback on the id4 except for software issues. The Iconiq has decent reviews but we don't like the look of it personally.

Would it be worth stretching for an Atto3? Or just going for a Niro.

All opinions / feedback welcomed - many thanks in advance.
