No team deserved to lose. An advertisement for the game. My heart goes out to the Cork players. What a superhuman effort and then to fall by 1 point.

Tk some man when to step it up when it was needed. We'll never have the likes of him again in Clare. I'm off to ennis to join in the celebrations if anyone wants to do the herding for me for a few days, up the banner!!

Cork will be sore after that, two clear frees at the end not given, a pity such an exciting game had to end like that.

It's a long time since we had a final that was even close and then this, neither side could get away from the other.

Delighted for Tony Kelly & Conlon, some servants.

CClare grew into the game after a ropey 10min start

The ET took from it as a spectacle a bit I thought, they were out on their feet a replay would have been fair also

Great to see a sport that has not succumbed to the money merchants & it's our game to make it even better. Nearly everything else has been tainted.

Patsy ringing in sick for the week on both jobs?😁

Cork went for a goal and it was saved, Clare went up and got a point. Terrible decision to go for the goal. Easy for me to speak I know.
what a game though. Pity it wasn’t a replay, my heart goes out to cork. Ref could have easily pulled for a free at the end and I don’t think much would have been said to him regardless of the jersey pull. Again easy for me to say and it’s a tough job. He was great for the game today bo doubt as all the pundits are saying. We are so lucky to have hurling as our game and to be seeing the great teams we see. Thank god for slow motions and being able to rewind on the tv!

Cork were unlucky not to get those two frees but they were lucky that shot on goal hit the half-back’s boot. These things usually balance over the course of a game.

It’s different when you’re a neutral watching but for all the technical brilliance and great scores today, the crowd seemed subdued at times.

It was mostly Cork fans in attendance so when it bacame obvious it wasn't just a trophy collecting exercise they get very quiet.

    Could be Gavin Newsom.

    Gretchen Whitmer another.

The Rock on up for the match last night gave a good account of the amount of luck Cork had this season to get to the final...it ran out today Clare I thought over the whole game we're that little bit better. Clare were able to stop Harnedys influence where limerick couldn't fair play.

I hope Patsy and Co have a good few weeks out of it TK's goal was a joy of the game along with most of his play today.

Brother was working in croke park, as a neutral he said it was a super game. He normally leaves gigs, games at the interval as his work is done but was happy to stay today.

I was always going to favour both Trump and RFK, id like to see RFK get a go at it but i reckon Donald is the best fella they can have running the show for both themselves and for international relations.

I think even Miss Piggy would manage the show better than Trump. Trump will only look after himself.

People do know Trump was already president for four years and nothing like that happened. Playing the same cards as 2016 and expecting people to take you seriously won't work this time. Especially the same lot who up to a few weeks ago believed Biden was as "sharp as a tack" and showed no signs of old age. No better that the extreme brainwashed maga people on the other side.

The uncomfortable truth as regards peace and security some are afraid to acknowledge is Russia took the Crimea under Obama and invaded Ukraine under Biden. Palestinians aren't counting their lucky stars Biden won last time are they? Afghanistan was a disaster the way they left that. The Taliban must be Biden's biggest fans, couldn't believe their luck.

Didnt Trump say it wasnt America's job to police the world. Bar there's something in it for them of course

Back in 2016 i remember seeinga promo for the handmaids tale stating this is what the world will look like under Donald Trumps presidency. I never watched that series but from what i read/heard about it you couldnt draw any similarities between Donalds term and that series.

Hes aiming to bring peace to Ukraine as soon as he takes office if elected surely thats a big plus on international relations and should have an effect on our little island too. Peace in Ukraine means the Ukrainians can head home to rebuild there country, and the cost of living should come down for us too as most things i e. Diesel/petrol have shot up since the war started.

Did he not also meet with the leader of North Korea during his term to try improve relations between the two countries?

As regard on his home turf hes going to mass deport illegal immigrants, most likely could include illegal Irish over there but they are there illegally and the state should have every right to send them home. Im not anti immigration myself at all once its controlled, its likely i will be going through the immigration process myself in a few years and there is a lot of hoops to jump through to get through it so be it.

The whole world apart from Russia is aiming to bring peace to Ukraine. People are just so gullible, it's unbelievable. He met Kim and Kim ran away as fast as he could....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,216 ✭✭✭carrollsno1

If that was the case youd think something would have been done about it by now, Biden along with other leaders just seem to want to keep throwing money at Ukraine to no avail.

His plan for peace in Ukraine is to tell Ukraine you’ll get no more arms, and must reduce the size of your army. Then tell Russia you can keep what you have taken so long as you don’t fight anymore.
russia will do that, and then wait a few more years to re-arm and start the next land grab.
how people cannot see this I don’t know. Do you honestly think he is going to negotiate a Russian withdrawal??
