Bringing kids to Gig

Could you try to swap them for seating maybe?

That's very strange. Usually it would be U16's to be accompanied by an adult. I've brought my 7 & 10 year old to both Blur and Green Day (standing) without a bother.

Answer is none. That's why kids were allowed standing, cos there were no other options. For stadiums and arenas, with a mix of standing and seated tickets, standing is always 14+ (with exception for Taylor Swift)

Well, I obviously found it strange because I'd never heard of it before. I'd just wonder why it's safe for kids to stand at some gigs and not others (irrespective of seats being available or not). Red tape gone mad I tells ya!!😅

It's standard in nearly all stadiums. Insurance/egress in emergency or any of a number of factors likely the reason. Very different to a gig in different venues with no seating available at all. Even then they'll have limits to pit or other specified areas.

I haven't tried to bring the kids to a stadium/indoor gig before, so have never needed to check the age limits for them (hence my ignorance of the situation). Good to know for future reference though!

Just go on to chat, tell them you wanna change tickets, then theyll ask for new order number and refund initial order

You have to buy the second set, then they'll refund the first

I've done it a couple of times to get better seats. Both times I've got on to chat first and got them to agree to it, but I don't think that's necessary

Go to the gig and talk to Ticketmaster customer service inside the venue who'll swap your tickets .Don't buy new tickets
