Hi All,

Apologies if this is the wrong section to post this in. Our car just got hit by another car who went through a red light and didn't stop.

We have a dash cam and it caught it but due to the angle of the car and the speed it was going we can only see clearly a partial plate number.

If I take a screenshot is there anything out there that isn't expensive that I might be able to get the image enhanced and made clearer so we can see the reg?

Could be worth posting the video in the motors forum, if some of the characters are legible with the model of car it could be possible to come up with the reg using the likes of Cartell to match the model to reg. For example if you could make out 1?1D9993? and were unsure of the ? it would be possible to get it.

That's an idea, it's a northern plate though, still will though, cheers. I have five of the 7 digits

If it's the last 5 that would be easiest, the first 2 letters are the county/city the car is registered in and about 35 to try. Cartell will also identify NIRL cars.
