    Just went through every single Eurosport feed on my dodgybox and it's not on any of them. Closest I got was a paywalled link to discovery plus.

    Very disappointing altogether.

    Missed kicks cost us the games against Fiji and NZ. Even opting not to go for goal against Fiji.

    Here he see Roche miss a makeable con to draw level.

    And then reject a very easy 3 (although it worked out)

    I think it was a huge mistake to leave Billy Dardis at home

    They did a great job to turn that around 14-7 down with 2mins to go. The kick to the corner for Wards try was superb.

    Alternatively some enlightened posters may prefer to just blame the US for ‘bottling’ it.

    No rights issue, save that RTE are only allowed show one event at a time and decided to prioritise something else.

    RTE have the Olympics on a sub license deal from Warner Bros Discovery who are the main rights holders across Europe and are subject to restrictions, not on what sports they can show, but how many hours and channels.

    No way to sugar coat it Mark Roche has cost ireland a medal this year, the worst kicking display of any team in the tournament by a country mile, gets bailed out by Kennedy, do ireland have no back up kicker? surely getting someone in out of the crowd to have a punt might have a greater % chance of going over the bar.

    You can’t put it on one player. Our kicking hasn’t been good, but to put it into context, as good as Kennedy is, he was responsible for a poor mistackle to give NZ their first try in the group game which let them back into it. You could also point the finger at another one of our best performers, Ward, who didn’t try and get under the posts when he scored his cracking try in the that game too. It all contributes. Plenty of mistakes made including restarts against Fiji, but sure that’s 7s.
