Soft copper pipe fittings

Hi all. I just cut my kerosene oil pipe by mistake. 10mm dia soft copper pipe with a white coating on the outside. I assume I need an insert for soft copper,any idea what dia the insert is?

As scarce as hens teeth.
The best fix would be a flared joiner. Your service person might have the tools for that.
It's often done (with compression joiners) without inserts, but takes a certain feel for the correct amount of tightening. Too much or too little and you'll have a leak.
Is it overground?
