    there will be no talk about how bad this is…if it was the men's team they would be crucified, and that in a nutshell is the true inequality in sport, people are afraid to criticise female teams.

    Sene Naopu just said Ireland have been awesome in parts which is astounding really.

    Liam Jegou was very unlucky that 2 second penalty for hitting the gate near the end cost him a medal but at least it didn't cost him gold as up until the last run it was looking like it had.

    Incredible run by Gestin to win the event, to completely obliterate the field in a home Olympics in front of such a huge crow and going last when all the pressure was on him was incredible.
