Religion in the current age has caused more conflict and death than anything else, objectively it is a pox on society.

Anyone who claims it has a positive impact on social order - hadn't met enough atheists to understand that you don't need religion to be a nice person.

I always suspected religion simply started off as a way of explaining what happens after death, and like most stories, got waaaay out of hand over time.

Why are you unable to counter the statement, "Religion is a pox on humanity", without referring to Jews?

There's many, many religions, stretching back thousands of years that have been poxes on humanity, from child sacrifices in Mexico during the Aztec times, to the 1.7 million people killed in the crusades. Both events of course, that don't involve Jews.

Plenty of evidence to point to the opposite as there are plenty of posts mentioning Jews.

But someone claiming that Jews and others are out to replace us etc, would see them correctly identified as such, or a bit touched in the head (the latter not being exclusive of the former) .

What's any of this have to do with 'threats coming from the right?' It's best discussed in a religion forum.
