    on the stamps, they are a legal currency I believe, and the rate that the price has been going up, investing in stamps would have left you up a lot of money !!

    That's a load of BS about the digital stamp expiring, saying they have to keep the digital code in circulation. There's almost infinite combinations, so it's hardly going to be repeated.

    But also, if I buy a physical stamp and it goes up in price. I can still use that stamp and pay the difference to get a stamp of that value.

    If they used 6 places, it would take me about 10 minutes to write a generator for possible combinations.

    I had a minor disagreement with an An Post counter bod over the stamp I had in my wallet that was a couple of years old.

    The value of the stamp covered delivery of a letter within the 26 counties when I bought it.

    I could see no good reason why I had to buy more stamps.
