Gamepass quests Microsoft Redeem points

Random one today. Opened up the rewards page and was offered 200 points off my next redemption of rewards if I use it before 16th June. Now 200 points is essentially nothing, so it's a useless offer, but first time I've ever seen that…

Couple of ways:

1. If you go to rewards.bing.com and log in with your xbox linked microsoft account there are daily things that you click for a small number of tasks daily to get some points. It's usually 3 main tasks and maybe 1 or 2 more activities for ~40/50 points a day.
2. If you use the bing app on your phone and log in with your xbox linked microsoft account you can find points for reading news stories and the like. There is 150 points available daily for searching on bing and an additional 30 points for reading stories.
3. On your xbox there are gamepass quests that are there daily, weekly and monthly. The daily quests are to play a gamepass game (3 points I believe) and get an achievement in a gamepass game (5 points). There are then a few weekly tasks (e.g. play 3 different gamepass games) and monthly tasks (e.g. achieve a certain number of weekly and a certain number of monthly achievements) - the monthly tasks award 500 and 1000 points.
4. If you want to, also sign up to be an xbox ambassador https://ambassadors.microsoft.com/ - you need to click a bunch of links and if you keep on top of it you can earn 1 month of gamepass ultimate every 3 months. Ambassadors runs by season (Jan - Mar, Apr - Jun, etc), so the best time to sign up is now and you'll be in from the start of the season kicking off in July.

There may be other ways to accumulate points/rewards, but these are what I am aware of. Hope this helps!

The timing of this outage is really great when we only get the new day/week/month at 6pm, and some of our stuff resets at midnight…

it’s shocking how you cant play any games without signing in. Really bad when servers are down.

Sign-in seems fine, but now cloud sync is failing which is a death knell for some games.

Thankfully Humanity wasn't one of those so I was able to get today's achievement.

Is killer instinct the easiest way to get your daily achievement reward?

I've been doing the ambassador stuff since season 22.

Only recently enough reached level 4.

There seems to be a few stuck quests at the moment alright!

On their Discord, they are at least aware of it, though there hasn't been an update in 5 days… :(

I just there used my code for 1 month GPU from the last season of ambassadors and they've already changed me over to €17.99 per month recurring, when sub ends.

So much for people keeping the legacy pricing!

I guess any change to your expiry date will move you to the newer pricing.

Gonna buy 3 months GPU for 35,000 points while it's cheap. That's cheaper than 2 months GPU with real money :)

I have to leave it expire to do that though, right?

Ah nice one Chris, I didn't realise that Core converted at all once you had GPU!

I'll get the Core then each time I reach 15k points until they start limiting the time that you can stack!

Think that's happening in September maybe?

Ya, I spotted them yesterday and meant to highlight this. Seems to be once a week.

Yep, those random padlocked rewards of 15 points each have appeared again, so seems to be a weekly affair.

I was on the rewards site the other day and was very impressed that there were loads of new ways to earn rewards, but it turned out I was just connected to the M&S store wifi which must be routed through a British IP. They get much more than we do. Very unfair.

Anybody here doing the ambassadors stuff? I've just noticed that with a few weeks left in current season I'm way off getting the top reward (im still less than 10k, need 15k for platinum). The previous 3 seasons I easily got the top reward, but this time I won't.

I don't think I've missed any of the quests, with the exception of the community quests (adding friends, stuff like that) which I've always ignored. Have they just reduced the points available or did I miss a chunk somewhere?

Bastards. If we were in the UK or us I'm sure they'd have loads of goals and we'd fly through the points..
