cool! Wasn’t being picky but just keen to get the goss sooner. Best of luck to anyone getting them today .. it must feel like the leaving cert that never ends!

I know some on here go to great pains to say the numbers are genuine but when Joe Duffy’s Liveline numbers are up 1,000 it really casts doubt on the veracity of the figures. His show has steadily got worse so I’d even be surprised if he retained listeners. It may have helped that it was summer holiday time and Katy Shannon was standing in. Every station manages to find something in the figures to make an “aren’t we great” ad about. Proof that there’s lies, damn lies, and statistics. Also, who funds the JNLRs? Looks a lot like he who pays the piper calls the tune.

A gain of 1,000 on an audience of 302,000 is negligible and most definitely not something to be proud of.

Especially when we compare it to the shows audience a decade ago.
