I wonder how high he needs to finish in the St Jude's to make it into the top 50 and into the field for next week

Realistically he needs a top 8 to have a decent chance. Anything lower only works if those ranked 50-54 finish towards the bottom of the field.

Decent start....we'll take that. -3 and currently in the top 10

Call me tin cup but wouldn't be a fan of that, practically needs to win this thing to get through to next week.

He had a good day, he'll probably need a better one tomorrow to make it. He's ten spots out right now.

I think he needs to finish 5th to make it. That might not be even enough. Right now he's three shots away from that but would probably have to shoot -5 over his last seven holes. ☹️

Just tuned in awhile ago and saw him limping after finishing out. Is he struggling physically?

Top 50 in the rankings is already set after the Fedex cup. The rest of the rankings will be finalised over the next few weeks.

The incentive for Seamus is to stay in top 60 which would get him into 2 of the early signature events next season

He’s on the timesheet for Japan which will have plenty of top 50 in it so possible to gain points on most of his rivals looking to get into the top 60

yes he’s turned the 2nd half of season around nicely after the injury/being a bit off form and looks like he’ll make around €3mil as well

Anybody watching the Shriners? What happened to Seamus, was going well then +4 for holes 12-16. Cut iffy now.
