    'As we all know' what?

The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.

The Entryism process: 1) Demand access; 2) Demand accommodation; 3) Demand a seat at the table; 4) Demand to run the table; 5) Demand to run the institution; 6) Run the institution to produce more activists and policy until they run it into the ground.

Caller: It was a simple fix.

Yes, but if the person is not competent enough to identify and fix the simple thing, then maybe they are not competent enough to drive.

I had to do mine three times

First time, fair enough, I didn't deserve to pass. No complaints.

Second time, I think on another day, I would have been passed, but the tester was grumpy and was looking for any cause to fail me. He was a pretty sour individual.

Third time, the guy was an absolute gent, his demeanour put me at ease straight away. That alone made a big difference.

Probably explains whoy there's so many fast Cark cars on the roads.

Same with Doobalin plates - not always, but sometimes driven by eejits.

I'll dig up some more driving generalisations, shortly.

    True

I have had to get my mechanic to fix the catch on my jeep before. It happens.

But I did not keep driving around ignoring it.

1970s car test. Still traumatised 50 years later.

When is the money (including lost growth) Michael Noonan took in the Pension Levy going to be paid back?
