    True, except there are a lot of drugs available since the 1980's (For example, heroin and E) which are far more potent, intoxicating and widely available than those of old that can skew the figures.

    There are motorway driving lessons available but it's up to people to book them separately after they have passed. But I do agree it should be brought in as part of national training.

    my friends dad drove a lorry for years to sweden weekly. on one of his first trips he was pulled over for speeding and fined, and less than an hour later stopped for driving too slow and fined again.

    I know yeah, but cocaine is consumed on a daily basis really here, by people across all professions, not singling one out but take salesmen or bank clerks for example, both drive to and from work, ones day might involve driving around to various calls etc,

    Respectfully I would disagree. Lane changing/etiquette, merging and dual carriageways are all part of the current test, as are motorway signage and rules. The main difference that can't be taught are the speeds at which the traffic moves and that is only something we gain from experience. Certainly a post test lesson isn't any harm here.
