    The first scene looked like 2.5D with discrete distances. There's no way I could watch in 3D.

    Mars Needs Moms was another Disney uncanny valley flop.

    John Carter's trailer killed it as it looked like a badly done copy of the arena scene in Star Wars, a decade later and with no better CGI.

    Just had a similar conversation and used same examples...

    $210 million on what looks too "off" to be absorbed by. The uncanny valley on even the "real" actors is very off-putting.
